You know how Ryu and Ken are always pretty much the same?

Well, Capcom finally decided to change Ken's style a little

bit! They will be discussed later. His new moves take a little

getting used to, but you can still kick ass with him!

Special Moves

Hadoken

Ken's fireball has changed for the worse. Yes, the fireball has a nice blue shine to it now, but Capcom decided to make it dissipate half-screen! What the FU*K? Now, you cheap fireball throwers out there might not want to pick him, it will be impossible to cheese anyone out!

Shoryuken

Congratulations Ken, your dragon-punch is the best in the entire game! Now, all of you pyros will be glad to find out all his Dp's are flaming! They burn and they hurt! Also, use them as counter attacks in the air while air blocking. It will always be a sure, clean hit!

Tatsumaki-Senpu-Kyaku

Major change here! Instead of Ken's hurricane kick going horizontal, it starts of diagonally upwards and then comes down with an axe kick! It has it's positive and negative aspects, use sparingly! I recommend it when an opponent is coming down towards you!

Super Moves

Shoryu-reppa

This started all the rushing dragon supers! Ken rushes forward doing 3 dragon punches, which comboes and sometimes OTGs! The first rush has good range that can catch an opponent by surprise; use it when characters throw a projectile at you. Don't use it on big characters unless it will be a finishing move, because the big characters always land first and will be able to counter! Also, if Shoryu-reppa is blocked, one word - SCREWED!!!

Shinryuken

My favorite! The flaming inferno tower of death-destruction-havok-armageddon! It drains your life like hell! It's good for pummeling your opponents into oblivion but has horrible horizontal range! If this is blocked, it will do dumb chipping damage and you will be completly vulnerable because Ken flies up 2 screens high during this move! Use it when an opponent is right above you, and remember to jam on the buttons to get extra hits!

Shipuu-Jinrai-Kyaku

A move retained from the horrible Street Fighter 3! Three words describe this wonder - Flaming Hurricane Kick! Ken spins around the screen with his feet on fire, if he connects he takes his opponent upwards and kicks them in the head a few more times! It does Ok damage, has Ok range, and the start-up of the move is invincible! Catch oppoenents off guard with this! Once again, if they block it, you are SCREWED!

Ken counters the opposition with a dragon punch! It is great when used up close, but dumb when opponent is far away! If you're really stupid, then you can try countering a beam super with this! Heh Heh...it's invincible when it is rising, so counter those pesky in-your-face fireball throwers!

A really helpful team move. Use it to piss off and trick opponents! Let Ken come in with the Shoryuken and then unleash a super move! Your opponents will stupidly attack Ken instead of you when he jumps in and they will we nailed by the super! Ken reaches far into the screen and gets out very slowly!

A fast and reliable team attack! It's safe because of the added partner's attack, and is safe against the big guys! It has a better chance of hitting than the regular Shoryu-reppa and teaming up Ken with a character with a beam attack will drain an opponent's life away! Remember, you need 2 levels of your meter full to execute this attack!

Double Shinku-Hadoken

Having flashbacks from the Street Fighter:Animated Movie? What a coincidence! If you decide to team Ken up with his good friend and rival Ryu, you can unleash the deadly incredible super awesome spiffy radical astronomical Double Shinku Hadoken!!! It does tons of damage, and can go up to 40+ hits normal or 80+ hits as a finisher! You've just recreated the final SF:Animated Movie by doing this one-of-a-kind move!
